^{Solis inhabits the margins where desire, horror, and abjection collide. Her creation, Glory West, is a spectral Texan, a fevered apparition who drifts across drawing, sculpture, video, and performance. Love, longing, and hysteria manifest as grotesque rituals, uncanny tableaux, and moments of mysticism that unsettle as much as they captivate. Glory’s presence is haunting: she lingers, disorients, and refuses closure, conjuring a monstrous femininity that is seductive, fragile, and dangerous all at once.

Megan’s work has appeared at Artpace (San Antonio, TX), Sweet Pass Sculpture Park (Dallas, TX), Mexic-Arte Museum (Austin, TX), Latchkey Gallery (New York, NY), and CICA Museum (South Korea), while her film Dark Odyssey on Converse Lake premiered at the 2023 Chroma Art Film Festival (Miami, FL).

In 2026, she will perform at Vox Populi Gallery (Philadelphia, PA) and reveal new work at Giant Runt Gallery (Fort Worth, TX), continuing the odyssey of a universe in which desire, fear, and the monstrous feminine intertwine and refuse to let go.}
